Topic:
Come check out the latest and greatest version of SQL Server with bits hot off the keyboards in Redmond . This session will focus on the new functionality in SQL Server 2008 for Developers such as the MERGE statement, table valued parameters, new data types, etc. We will also shed some light on identifying deprecated code in your current SQL Server environments in order to make the jump to SQL Server 2008. Come check it out!

Bio:
Jeremy Kadlec is the Principal Database Engineer at Edgewood Solutions, a technology services company delivering full spectrum Microsoft SQL Server Services in North America. He has authored numerous articles publishes white papers on various SQL Server topics, serves as an "Ask the Expert" at www.SearchDatabase.com and delivers frequent presentations at regional SQL Server Users Groups and nationally at SQL PASS. He is the author of the Start to Finish Guide to IT Project Management which has been will received in the IT community. Jeremy holds a Master's Degree in Information Systems from The University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
