The Service Layer and Sharing Data Between ColdFusion Applications

Topic:
One of the advantages of ColdFusion is the stateful nature of the application server. This session goes over how to use this feature to implement a service layer for implementing both simple and complex applications that share state such as login, caches, and how to use this to implement features like user tracking. Frameworks such as ColdSpring, Model-Glue and Fusebox will be used. The TeraTech conference websites will be used as an example implementation.

Bio:
Elliott is a Software Engineer for TeraTech, and currently develops and maintains all conference related software including the CFUnited, Frameworks Conference and CFUnited Europe websites and the CFUnited Scheduler. He's worked with a variety of programming languages and software systems and is a strong advocate of web standards and accessibility. He lives by the motto "Code well, code to standards, and above all.. code for fun."
